One of the little kindergartners that rides my school bus just absolutely loves cars. He can name any type of car just by looking at the front grill. And, let me remind you, he's just learning to read. Everyday he picks out a car in traffic and pretends to race them...He's shifting gears...Making the tires squeal...Falling over on his turns (apparently he was not wearing his 5 point racing harness)...This one particular day, he was louder than ever. I turned to him and told him he needed to be a little quieter. He replied, "I can't. This car has open headers!"...he obviously knows his cars...I replied, "Well, then put a muffler on it! And, you need to pretend you have your racing harness on. You keep standing. Do you have ants in your pants?"..."No. But I have wax in my ears!"...hmmm...could explain the open headers!
