I am sitting here in the dark, surrounded by You, but surrounded by cold....
How did it come to this? How did I of all people end up alone and cold? I've been the first to help others on your behalve, the strong one when You required, silent when You thaught fit. And yet now it is me trying to find my way through the dark, grabbing at every opportunity to feel something.
What have I done to deserve this!?!
The anger is numbing, the cold is overpowering, the confusion is the most deadly. And still it goes on. Still no warmth comes my way. Still the end feels far....
The crashing waves around me confirms the thaughts, the loud crashes reverberates through my body, and I feel small. So very very small.
Who am I to make demands? What weight could my stupid fears and needs carry? I am small, and I am invisible, and I am just a pawn.
The days are long, and the answers are out of my reach. The last truth however is still out there... The real question is still beating like the waves...
