Question 1:
Why are most managers damagers?
Answer 1:
Most managers are damagers because they aren’t leaders, they only care about themselves and maybe their families, but everybody else are just in their use and abuse in order to achieve their own goals.
Managers should manage people, not their own goals or just company goals; they must interact in the spirit world to touch people’s spirits, they must be aware of the emotions of their followers to guide them effectively and they must touch them literally in an physical effort with daily principles of good habits and examples .
God has always got someone else in mind for you to lead. Every manager has to be a leader in order to be effective, otherwise you will inevitably damage someone! Because we are spiritual beings, the only way we can be satisfied in what we do is to receive divine direction and leadership for everything we do! If this is not true for you, you will always just be a damager and never a manager when it comes to leading people!
A MANAGER HAS TO BE A LEADER WHICH MEANS HE WILL HAVE FOLLOWERS NOT JUST WORKERS!
Question 2:
Why are most managers called by negative names? Could it be because they cause more damage than good? How can you change this negative legacy into being a good influencer?
Answer 2:
The names a manager’s people call him defines what he means to them! The first thing people think of off a person is his name. But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters. (Acts 18:15 – King James)
Unfortunately you will only be remembered for what you have done wrong and not really for what you have done well in your life, especially where it come to people.
Our names are constantly confessed by people, creating the actions of the meanings of our names. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.( Luke 10:20 – King James)
If you are called a damager, that’s what you are! If you are called a good leader, that’s what you are!
YOU ARE WHAT PEOPLE CALL YOU!
I have found the topic of the meaning of your name to be so important, that I decided to explore it further in MODULE 2 and MODULE 9 in this research.
Question 3:
Which ONE of the different leadership styles must managers have in order not to be a damager?
Answer 3:
An effective manager has to possess ALL the different leadership styles of directing, coaching, supporting and delegating.
You have to ring true to the definition, the functions, the characteristics, the styles, the approaches and dimensions of these principles; otherwise you will always stay a damager.
Effective leaders are people who are able to diagnose what their people need from them in order to build their skills and confidence in doing the task they are assigned. Good leaders have a range of leadership styles that they can use comfortably. They have developed some flexibility in using those styles in different situations. And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. (Ezekiel 44:23 – King James) Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (Psalms 25:5), In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:6), Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. (1 Thessalonians 3:11), I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.( Acts 20:35), But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.( John 14:26– all these scriptures from the King James)
