I’m visiting a friend, we’re on our way out
Get into the car, music playing loud
Before we leave, I said I must quickly go to the ladies room
Give me the keys, don’t worry I’ll be back soon
I go into the house, switch on the light
Through the kitchen, down the hallway
Then the lights go out, I get a fright
Something’s wrong, I must get away
Run back to the door but it won’t open
Moans, evil roars, unrecognizable shadows closing in on me
Hammering my fists against the door I scream “get away from me!”
I wake up in sweat, heart racing like a horse, my eyes wide open
For now, it’s all gone, I get up, get some water in the kitchen
Third night in a row, haven’t had these dreams for more than a year
It’s a while now that they’ve been haunting me again
I don’t understand why because I now once again begin to live in fear
For many years I suffer from insomnia, because I played with fire
Now I pay the price because my soul’s no longer for hire
Memories stay, attacks will come and my fear of darkness will never go away
Beware, stay away from the evil, because the consequences will stay
