Scattered like the stars, my heart now lies out there
I was warned about this and I was told to be aware.

Never did I think this deed, to be possible, ever at all
My body tells the story and my mind feels withdrawal.

The word suitable was for ever spoken about the two of us
For now I am left with an open wound, I can smell the puss.

You took the dagger, stabbed and turned it to make sure
I have to carry this pain, how much do I have to endure?

This was a fatal and brutal murder, with no reason at all
Left to die, alone in my own sorrow, couldn’t even call.

My soul is shredded and my eyes have no more glare
People around me do not understand, all I do is stare.

Your decision was swift; you did it with primitive action
The past was gone in a second, left with no Satisfaction.

To ask you why you did it would bring me no joy at all
You never spoke about nothing, always a concrete wall.

You let hard sore in our lives, others influence seeped through
You should have tried harder; my love for you was always true.

I can tell you this; never will you find the same energy anywhere
We were the perfect picture with loads of natural love to spare.

This song has ended, the number one spot has been taken out
You avoided true love, did it consciously and without any doubt.

The scars will be there for ever, this I do not doubt at all
I launched you into true love; I have taken the critical fall.

Does it really matter, that is the question being projected
Your picture in the newspaper was my honesty reflected.

From Cape Town to Pretoria, the phone just kept ringing
Happy birthday sweetheart . . . . . and we all got singing.

Small things matter, I do not care what other people say
True love is suppose to be special; not suppose to stray.
