Teardrops ain't kisses
and a smile don't bring joy.
Nothing stays magical,
after a heart broken by a boy!
Heartache is miserable,
but loving you is worst!
My feelings are tender
for my heart wants to burst!
No cure for reality,
although love will stay true.
My pain fades slowly,
no more visions of you!
Time ticks on,
though memories will stay.
I have to move forward,
for you went away.
Months passes by,
no more You in my head.
To my surprising,
no tear has been shed.
No other joy yet found,
for no searching has been done.
I'm at peace with my life now,
I'm having so much fun!
My reality stays focused,
with my head help up high!
No obstacles in my path,
well...
not until the next guy passes by!
