Surrounding me in the club
Being charmed by it so quick
I close my eyes and wait for it to take me up
My body rhythmically moving
Within me sound waves are seductively flowing
I lose myself in the songs playing
Awesome tunes with a ‘dark’ surrounding
Drawn closer as if caught in a spell
More and more you drift away to a journey so sweet
Your body moves energetically with every beat
Caught in a world so perfect, one you know so well
Song upon song, what on earth could go wrong
Then I get introduced to ‘e’, later cat, some nights using both
Awesome! WOW! What an experience, definitely the money’s worth!
Extreme energy, unbelievable senses, I waited for this for so long
Unexplainable experience, non-stop dancing, everyone your friend
You’re happy forever! So you thought… till you come down…
Suddenly the all the wonderful feelings, gone..
Another one? C’mon, into another world again you will be sent
Turning heavens, floating carpets, almost Alice in Wonderland
A world unknown, coke, crack, rocks... drawing circles in the sand
The sun is up, the night is gone, and you’re still high
Into the endless clouds, for a short while still, you’ll be swept away to fly
It’s all over; you’re full steam coming down… depression indescribable
What happened to that happy feeling? Your so called friends?
All alone, home, no one to talk to, that wonderful feeling ends
Down under, deep dark well of hopelessness, what did you do? Thoughts despicable…
A few nights wasted on false emotions, false friends, a false life
Dangerous, terrifying, God’s hand on your life for sure
You’re one of the lucky ones, you got out, and you found the cure
It’s towards Him, the ultimate Savior you should strive
I never liked the “afterwards” feeling, that was enough to inspire me to stop
Who would want a life lived so dependently, and with a full mental block
Drugs, dancing, music, clubs, so tempting, the devil’s screensaver to happiness
Don’t get caught in a world of dependence, lies, get out while you can, it’s dangerous
I hated coming down, afterwards it always made me sick
Drugs in the end didnt go down so well... especially one night when i almost o/d'd
That was the last, but what about those that can't stop, can't say no, cant get out
Dont get tricked, there is help, there's more to life, get away from that click
Before it's too late...
