A dream died last night
to be buried with the morning light
I understand,
a choice was made
the Light he will not see
another binding cut
in order to set me free
from the pain and sorrow
living in my yesteryears
Yahweh will wipe away the tears
from off all faces
and the rebuke of His people
from off all the earth
for He hath spoken it
I have waited for Him
in His salvation I rejoice
He will keep me in perfect peace
because I trust in Him
His will never take me
where His love
will not protect me
