Hocus pocus and Reality T.V
they all show us what we think we want to be
On movies of violence and decadence we agree
but when those things happen amongst us we don’t like what we see
When will we realize that the meaning of life
is not to murder, steal or cheat on your wife
Nor does it mean we must fabricate lies
to give any significant purpose to our lives
Any person on earth can look like Robin Hood
by building a beautiful home and gathering lots of food
But it takes a strong character to stand for what is right
to help other people without guns and without a fight
We must look for things on which we agree
then we will share and work together in a degree
Nobody is perfect we must realize
and learn to look at ourselves through other people’s eyes
When we accept our purpose is to give love
then we will receive blessings from heaven above
Wouldn’t it be nice if all of us could see
that other people is really what we cause them to be
Only when we treat each other like brothers and sisters
we will stop spawning forth hate that cause emotional blisters
Go forth and treat with love the next one you see
and you will find they can also be as loving as you hope them to be
