After I opened myself for emancipation
I thought you’d be beside me
But you left me with my troubled thoughts
And I never felt so lost before
Left out cold – feeling lonely and confused
I thought you’d come to comfort me
But you accused me of being too vulnerable
And I almost died in self pity
You invaded my way of thinking
Constructed my life without my knowledge
Now I ask you, while the burden is too heavy
