crescendo in my ears
the passion rises to a high.

while the final cords are strung.
Then ritardando
the caresses of your hands,
slowly bring to rest my
trembling heart.
Now is the end of our song,
my heart you now own.

when you go home.
The melody I’ll always

safely in my head.
