By mid morning I had received the shocking news
News that scattered my day and my life for ever
They informed that you have died in an accident
Taken away for ever by God
Never will I ever see or talk to you again
My world crumbled around me
I was alone, for the first time in years
What now I asked God?
Continue with your life, He said
To trust and obey Him
As I have been doing for so long
That one day I will know the answer
To the question, Why my Lord?
Then I will understand!
Difficult as it may be to continue my life
God was there always for me
Why will I abandon Him now?
For something I lost and do not understand
God it is hard to go on, there was just no good – bye
Please give my good – bye to her
Tell her I am sorry for it all
That she would please forgive me
Father forgive me also in
Your mercy and greatness
in Jesus Name
