RAIN DANCE
If ever you travel in Namibia
from Karasburg to Etosha
Between Steinhausen and Du Plessis
maybe a strange sight you will see
for whenever it rains, they dance the bossa nova!
ALWAYS BIGGER, BETTER, BRIGHTER BACK HOME
An American one night at Wanoona,
around the moon saw an amazing corona
He gazed and gazed at that moon
until he fell into a swoon
Blubbering, We have brighter ones back in Daytona!
DON’T UNDERESTIMATE YOUR CADDY!
He was playing so badly he flew into a paddy
and even started swearing at his old Scottish caddy
who wasn’t amazed
nor easily fazed
just saying, You’re a lumbering lummox, dear laddy.
DIRTY DANCING
East of Los Angeles in Alahambra
a lady asked me if I knew how to samba
I said no, not really, but that I remembered one day
I gave it a good go, as in the bush back home I had to stay
and in the morning I stepped onto a sleeping black mamba.
