of letters on one another.
You don"t feel cool
as you draw one after another.
For the news they bring is harmful.
They are messengers of debt.
When the colour is white,
you are reminded of debt.
The situation is tight.
Then the colour becomes yellow,
it"s a Final Notice!
Sometimes it"s orange,
your Final Warning!
You become scared-you panic.
It sends shivers down your spine.
The mailbox is calling
for it is full again.
Your face is wet
and your eyes are shining.
Now,all you see is red,
it is the Final Demand!
You feel cursed and forsaken.
Later,your drawer is full letters.
All are sealed for you"ve
become illiterate.
Finally, comes a knock on your door
your heart is pounding.
Oh!what my Lord?!
It"s a burly messenger
with a clipboard and pen.
"You must sign on dotted line"
it is a Summons!
They give you ten days.
You are left alone
You have no one
Your stomach is upset
You can"t eat nor treat
You can"t love nor laugh
You are sick and serious
You can run but cannot hide.
Your head is in a noose!
