Songs of the world are sad cries of victims. Victims of poverty, rape n killings. Songs of the world are never those of peace and serenity but are songs of lost identity. These are songs to open up our hearts, to open up our minds and eyes. Open them to the harsh reality of this insane world we live in. Sitting and blankly staring at the polluted sky with the hope of a better day. Wishing upon burning stars instead of wishing stars for a better life for my fellow brothers and sisters. Songs of the world mock our faith, mock our morals and strength. This world dominated by worthless "leaders" who have lost their roots. "Leaders" who are out to feed themselves leaving us out in the gutter. I find myself drowning in a pool filled with polluted tears of the world. My people. Songs of the world are cries of condemned souls trying to escape this blood thirsty place we call home(earth). The one place many of us do non want to exist!! I don't want to breathe in it let alone wander around in this cold world. With one way out I plan my escape. The one way I will block out the songs of the world. The only way to fight all that is not good. The one way for me to be at peace is to leave this world voluntarily. Rest assured in my Fathers arms and rejoice in the songs of Heaven.
