With my first glimps of her
this morn
my breath caught in awe
A lady…
Exquisitely dressed
in the softest of blues
With just a hint of pink
Sparklings around her neck
Like diamonds…
And when the cool sea breeze
sprung up from the South
she oh, so graciously
covered herself up
with a silvery grey cloak…
Keeping her splendour
locked away from the world
From all over the globe
they would come to admire her
To take from her strength
She…dipping her toes
in the oceans of the world
Flaunting her beauty
to all who love her
to all who adore her
admire her royalty…
And when not treated
with the respect she deserves
She takes…
Life
In 2011, may she be crowned
Queen of the South
and become one of
