Thinking about the world today, yes thought it is that drives our way . . .
In all we do, say and feel, the heart, our engine, the mind, our guiding wheel.
By what great wonder, the nature of modern man defined . . . the fulfilment of emotions, or the power of the mind?
Greatness is defined by the perception of our peers
but, rest assure that greatness from within is far more reason for their cheer.
We live with hope of success, but the fear of failure becomes our greatest foe,
Let go of this limitation and you will feel achievement’s glow.
What others view or judgements made are only the surface of our inner chimes,
we write our own song from the paintings in our soul,
and the moods of the mind are no more than chorus lines,
for the view of a beautiful sunset is the feelings that make you whole.
Like all of mankind that surround us in life,
we fall in the rut of what society defined, …our strife.
Break free from the mould; let your mind and your soul,
bring inner peace and calm, and see the barriers fall.
No reason to jump for joy, or wither under sorrow,
contentment found in mind and self, is the building blocks for the better tomorrow….
