Where do I find this far off place?
where a man, with God, lives in a state of grace?
With people kind and nature near,
contentment may bring a happy tear.
In this land where the balance of living is finely strewn,
the seeds of hope, success and survival are carefully sewn.
The beauty of its isolation brings to me new inspiration,
not as toxic as modern civilization.
It is in all this that a childhood yearns,
the dusty boy who is now a man,
to a strange but yet familiar place returns.
The distant images of his paradise of youth,
lights up memories that grow stronger in their emotions.
“Home is where the heart is,” so they say.
I just wish my heart was home...
