I’ve gone and done it again
I've let my guard down
let you into my game.
in you I thought I found a soul and a friend,
I opened myself up for you
and let my heart pour it out
But I guess I didn’t know
what you where all about.
You meant something to me,
I though you felt the same,
instead you tore me apart
and filled my head with pain.
I know I'm not innocent,
it was partly my fault too
even if you didn’t want me,
all I ever wanted was you.
I pretended that I didn’t care
and walked it off with a smile,
perhaps you should think of someone else
other than yourself for a while
I thought I meant more to you
but I can see it was all a lie.
even though you ripped me apart,
I’ll never let you see me cry.
