another little soldier

of monetary gains
paid for in blood
but fear not my lad
you`ll be classed a hero
so dad can stand proud
proclaim to his cronies
my son wears a cross
in his remembrance photo
there`s a flag on the wall
dedicated to him
beneath which mom drinks tea
together in a group
crying tears softly
cause a hero can be that
only
while alive
