This is my very own proclamation of love.
My fantasy flight like that of a white dove.
My thoughts, my feelings, my domain,
my initiative, my longings, your gain.
While these words from my mouth do run,
I turn my face eagerly towards the sun.
To the Universe I wish to raise my voice,
I love you, I do, this is my spectacular choice.
My thoughts are misted by a cloud of joy,
may nothing in this life ever, our love destroy.
Towards you, my only, I take this solemn vow,
not to any other will my heart be allowed to bow.
I long for your presence, your warm loving embrace,
my present is here, my past fled without a trace.
Holistically I am yearning, wanting, singing,
a song that tells of a new day, my day, a new beginning.
So to you, my love, whilst in your deep eyes I gaze,
I make a promise, my glass I want to raise.
Yes, you are the one to whom I now proclaim,
that I love you and in your arms I will always remain.
