I heard the screaming again last night
But strangely, in this violent time in which I was chosen to live
The screaming did not come from others
But from my mind, my soul, my body
Then the thoughts came,
like bullets aimed nowhere
Shot into my mind by … I don’t know what
and then
Screaming
I wonder who sees the riots
that repeat themselves endlessly in my mind
Is it that no-one cares about the situation
Or have I already become a prisoner to my own mind
And will I ever again let someone take a glimpse
At the thought that run riot
Will they then also become one of the hundreds that already exist
The thoughts, those bullets, that continuously run riot
In the prison of my mind?
