Love is a bridge
Stone by stone
Actions and words
Is used to build
That commitment
That everlasting support
Binding both sides
Bringing together those so far away
In dreams the stones are sepretly masend
Carefully and with the at most tender
Each one is build into the face
The face that’s turned to the word
The bridge of love
Carries most of life’s traffic
A single pedestrian to the most have haulage
All life can give
In love and hate
With the floods of live
Rushing by
Trying with all its might of destruction
That jealousy can provide
That image that was build
With a single hour, a few isolated moments alone
It’s only after abandoning
The old stone bridge
Only as a way of survival
It’s only then, does the decay penetrates
A structure that seemed builet for ever
Small inadequate signs of neglect
Neglect of despair
Single questing answers
Breaking down dreams
There is always
That soft perishable stone
That key stone in an arch
A single lie ,a single glance to the outher way
And the whole arch will come down
And with it the bridge
And at the end
Nothing but a heap of rubble
Not even resembling that bridge
The bridge of love
