I used to be a tennis fanatic
I was as happy as I ever could be
And there was no earthly static
I got motivation and support
Even though I did nothing to deserve it
-I was just me
To a tennis court
I stuck like bubblegum
I danced to the beat of my heart drum
In a paradise, with the best friends ever
What more could I ask for?
Now I'm in the bushveld
Cowboys with boots, horses and shorts
Building mud forts
Here you see goats at KFC
And you wonder how you found yourself to be
Take a guess.....A cowgirl
It sure gives your life an extra swirl
Its an adventure and you call it fun
Riding off in the afternoon sun
Sleeping under the stars
And seeing three-by-two donkey cars
But now my mind is stuck
To what the future holds
Giving up my previous world did suck
Her past dreams in a blanket she folds
To keep for the future
Or maybe just for memory
Not knowing what will happen, is torture
And mostly, missing that beautiful scenery
Missing those familiar smiles and my hometown paradise
Although these cowboys are kind of nice
Yes, even with their dirty hands and cowboy hats
So tough, they ain't even afraid of big cats
They catch big fish
And they sure can cook up a dish!
So by all means, it seems
I'm stuck between two words...
