People, human beings, homo sapiens
Supreme rulers supposedly to be
Of the earth, heavens and sea
As the Book of Creations
Let it be known
Animalia, wild beasts
Never known to speak
Neither to communicate
In language known to man
And yet they understand so well
Everyday we, people see
The brutality of homo sapiens
Homo sapiens killing homo sapiens
Man killing, maiming woman, raping
Killing, brutalizing offspring big and small
Man, created to rule the earth, sea
To rule over animal, bird
Raping ocean raping earth
Raping wildlife, fouling our air
In a quest to fill man's pockets abyss deep
Yet we never see the beast of sea
Mammals and birds of prey
Poisoning the air they breathe
Raiding their larder, messing their beds
Maiming, senselessly killing raping offspring and mate
