Standing at the window
Watching you move towards the door
A simple drop of sweat clinging at your brow
Opening the door, your soft lips curl into a smile
And little crow feet dance around your eyes
I watch transfixed
As you remove your shoes
A soft puddle of mud clinging on your feet
Your back arched, the muscles making a perfect curve
Standing up you walk towards me
And I watch the perfect drop of sweat slowly making its way down your neck
My fingers linger at your throat
Eyes locked
Catching it on my finger
Making a slow trail down your chest
Your breath caught in your throat
Sighing softly as I pull you close
Locking you in a tight embrace
As you slowly give in
To the warmth, the heat, the love
