oh i remember colour so well
smell of pomegranate red
vibrating succulent greens
vermilions
the brick of sienna
mouthwatering purples
blackness of indigo and red
vigorously mixed into pastes of dark
adding burnt umber
the elusive yellows
and the hues of white
making pink pink pink
i just do not remember
how it all fits together
to paint a smile
