God, I know it's time for me to go
But I need one more day to say
I'm sorry to the people I know
But, God, when I think about that
I need more than one day
To get all my wrong doings in tack
Perhaps, if I can get one more week
For so many forgiveness I must seek
You know God, You can not take me now
For the people around me need me so
If I'm not there, who will plant and sow
Who will see that the lawn gets mowed
I think God, I was never a big sinner
My work is not done, I never had time for fun
And only for that reason
You owe me another season.
