I wish that I could feel you, your arms around me tight,
Holding me so close, ‘till we blend into the night,
A moment more to cherish, before the break of day,
Before another memory, becomes a yesterday.
A moment in eternity, my whispering voice you hear,
The longing of my soul … when you draw me near.
Peace reaches up to heaven, as stars unfold the night,
Another dream that lingers, keeping shadows out of sight!
Want to loose myself again, into your warm embrace,
Feel my hungry lips, the caress across your face.
Soaking up the lovelight beneath the shadows of your eyes,
The quiver of your body, releasing wild desires.
Let me feel once more - your heat against my skin,
The lovesong when you whisper – the passion deep within.
Like the wind across the ocean – the tidal waves we ride,
Love will be the shelter, until storms subside.
On a bed of roses, what more can future hold?
Among the fragrant petals, another dream unfold.
Holding you once more, to the throbbing of my heart,
May love remain forever, until death us finally part …
