The line that’s drawn between love and hate
Won’t ensure the pearly gate
And what’s the difference I ask of thee
It’s what we call philosophy
It's a play on words, that I know
And how you say it, ill begin to show
To love to hate and to hate to love
Is an oxymoron as shown above.
There is no difference between the two
And where the line is drawn, is up to you
Love and hate are both the same
It’s how you say it and play the game
Take a scale of one to ten
Put love and hate both sides and then
Put a mark between the two
Anywhere really, it’s up to you
Now you will find the naked truth
We don’t learn in our youth
Cause there’s no wrong between the two
Its how you say, I love you
I love you; I love you that’s what I say
And I hate it more when you’re away
But to hate is what were taught is wrong
And how can that be if together they belong
