As I sit outside,
Every night
Staring up at the great beyond…
I wonder, who am I?
For I am so small, almost to the point,
Of nothingness
And I think of you,
Your eyes, your smile, your beauty.
And I wonder…
Why do I love you?
Why do I even care about you?
Why are you always on my mind, every night?
Why do I need you in my life??
Like the stars out there,
High up above,
You’re in my heart, ever shining, shimmering
Never fading
You always know, just what to say,
To cheer me up,
To keep me from hurting
You are an angel to me
And now I know…
