Our love is like scrambled eggs
beaten for a scrumptious brunch.
Some days we have to beg,
very often we last till lunch.
Our love is potent and strong,
some people say we are hexed.
Often everything goes wrong,
but mostly, we are perplexed.
Our love is full of glory,
providing us with many a laugh,
pages filled with a real life story
of which we both have had enough.

Our love is tearful and sad.
Often we can’t say sorry,
and that makes us both feel bad
for a while; what a worry.
Our love has many weapons,
we draw a sword in a second
and when that war happens,
it is for a referee we beckon.
Our love is a warm cover
where we hide our loneliness.
