how could I miss you had we never met
how can I feel this empty deep inside me
how can this feeling overflow me instead

what is it over which I want to let myself weep

and yet,
I weep over the one thing that I have lost
I miss to know it’s name
I feel the empty tears my rest accost
my eyes today inflame
I feel your ever present heart still hover in my spirit
in it's glory it has come to stay
I feel enlightened by your candle, as 'twere lit
for me not to miss you, I pray
so come closer, let me truly see you
let me in your private eyes
let me be your one safe breakthrough
for the world is fed on lies
