I dream I see
A face so clear,
A grin so real,
A monster.
He whispers to me
To follow him
But I walk on
And he follows me.
I run for help
To a well-known stranger,
The beast close behind me,
His dark eyes so desperate
To steal my soul.
I reach my safety
And the beast steps back.
With a last threat
His face disappears.
