From behind the trellis of my gate
and the Zevenwaght mountains
I can see a golden shining outline of a sphere
a curve like the exterior of a circle
creeping upwards..oh, so very very slowly
dragged by a little harnassed snail
huffing and puffing
(or so it seems)
but, smiling waving at the first starry pinpoints
that glued themselves to the evening sky
a fully grown moon
like a very pregnant sea horse daddy
it’s yellow, oversized belly rising up and up
‘till it’s fully displayed
