Starting of my journey I could not even crawl
and still I ventured forth to summit treacherous peaks
ascending no mountains;
I weathered multiple storms sailing no oceans.
And today being midway I still have no direction;
no hand cast compass compels.
No mapped roads exist where the desired dwells.
I anticipate a final destination of no arrival date,
I navigate neither by GPS nor by glittering stars:
I trek true north following joyous tears
and my trusted walking stick: a heart.
