I walked,
striding along as I went
and then,
as if I lost control
I was pulled to almost a standstill:
Like a wild mustang –
tamed by the hand of another ...
Breathing quickened
deepened
grasping for another breath.
A sudden confusion befell me:
How am I to lead other,
while I myself is so frequently confused?!
O Lord - my God!
Take hold of me!
For I fear that I went astray –
Astray, away from You.
For each day confusion fills my mind,
emptiness fills my soul,
loneliness fills my world.
Please take hold of me,
my Lord, my God!
