I love you like the morning sun
Brings awareness as the day is begun;
Spreading its warm rays upon the earth,
Feeling, realizing what life is worth.
You bring meaning into my world,
As the wings of an eagle widely unfurled.
I see life through different eyes...
Much more clearer, ever more wise.
I love the way you look at me,
Not knowing truly what you see,
But the twinkle always lets me know
The surest love that you bestow.
Your love I have never needed to doubt
It is what you and I are about;
