Maybe today is not such a great day
But what about tomorrow
Will it be better or worse?
Do I travel this road to see my dreams come true?
Or is it all just the traveling that will be the dream
Dreams are there to follow, but where do they lead
Today is this day I have to live through
And tomorrow will come soon enough
For me to worry about that
Today is yesterdays dream come true?
Or is it the night mare I had three weeks ago
What will this day bring to me?
Up this road I travel, with no destination in mind
Just seeing where it leads with all it turns and twists
May it lead me to where I should be?
Be it mother, be it wife or be it all alone
To touch some other life
With me none the wiser for all I’ve done
What is this roads destination to be?
Will I follow or turn of in a week or two
To travel some other road with a bend to negotiate
Where to with this path, where will my travels lead
What will all this mean in the end
Will lives be touched or just passed through
Traveling this path, this road into the unknown
I will pray to God to use this travels of mine
To lead me where He need me be
This road I will travel today and tomorrow
Maybe just a few more or maybe another fifty years
