Father God, I need to speak to You about Anger
As it sometimes overwhelm me but it is not what I aspire
God said “Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger
Because anger does not bring the righteous life that I desire”
Father then may I ask You about death, as I fear what it may bring
God said”Where o death is your victory, where o death is your sting”
But Father is there a way that I can know for sure, I cry
God said, “I am the resurrection and the Life, whosoever lives and believes in Me will never die”
Father God, what do You say about my enemies, surely I may hate then too
Father said “ Love your enemies,do good to those how hate you “
But Father, why should I even try
“Then your reward will be great and you will be sons of the Most High”
Father, I have been a failure so many times what then
My child, “though the righteous man falls seven times, he rises again”
And also Father my faith sometimes dwindles it stirs up within me
“Faith is being sure what we hope for and certain of what we do not see”
Father God, sometimes I am so tired and through constant trying I become sick
“I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak”
But Father I do not always see ahead, it all seems so dark as night
God said”We live by faith and not by sight”
Father fear is something that I cannot stand
“I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”
But Father, as I grow older my fears turn into grief
God said “Do not be afraid; just believe”
Thank you Father for reminding me that Your Word is so true
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you”
Thank you Lord I nearly forgot
“Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the Name of the Lord and rely on his God”
