Is it when it has grown
from a seed,
nurtured by the rain
the sun, all the good elements
and applauded when it showed
its first petal and placed under
a glass to keep it safe?
Or is it when it was dead
and crushed to the ground,
and then given love,
time, appreciation and
acceptance, only to have a miracle
happen where colour and radiance
explode into full bloom once again?
whether it be a sunflower,
a daisy, a rose.....
flowers are just flowers
they merely fall from my hands
but the love you gave and the
nurturing and care.... turned me
back into
me
