It is great that people look towards the past for inspiration. What is also great is that people haven’t forgot about this great TV show. Of course most people will remember the A-team. Even the younger generation could possibly have gotten some A-team as part of their upbrining. Would be a shame if they didn’t. But what is definitely not great to me is this film.
As always, I have to state that films is obviously a subjective subject. Especially for the layman like myself. I have not studied the art of making films. I have my preferences. And I DO like the A-team. But not thís A-team. This film is not what I expected. I expected a story that takes place 20 or 30 years ago. This film is very modern. The special effects is overdone. The acting to me was not that bad to me. But I have to admit that it was hard for me to follow the film. Lots of action of course. The good guys win, of course. But did I enjoy it? No!
I have seen many episodes of the A-team. Maybe my standards are too high. I wanted to laugh more. I do not think that this film did the TV show any justice and I would recocmend anyone to rather try and get your paws on the TV show. 2/10.
