In his poem 'Desmond Mpilo Tutu', author Gert Strydom claims that Tutu said on television that Jesus is 'a myth'. I can find no proof for this, if fact I found proof to the contrary, in that I found quotations where Tutu clearly speaks about his believe in Jesus. Despite confronting Gert, and reqeusting his source on Tutu, he prefers not to discuss the matter with me. I thus draw the conclusion that Gert spreading lies about Tutu. This is very disheartning and a sad development here on Mabooki.
