On this day, history was made. Today, the Irish cricket team has beaten England in an ODI at the 2011 ICC world cup. Anybody who knows the history of cricket, will know what a massive achievement this is!
At the start of this world cup, many people asked, should these 'lesser' countries, i.e. the countries with no test status, play in the world cup? Should the world cup not be only power vs. power? Now look how the Irish has made a statement in this regard.
One can only congratulate the Ireland team. Well played and to India, South Africa and the West-Indies, watch out for the men in green!
