The loss of a life-partner,
That was torn away before his time,
A cry to God for revenge,
Revenge against death….
As trauma councilors the worst pain me and my wife ever accounted,
Was to try and calm-down and tell a mom that her child was dead!
How do you console a parent that has lost her only child and son?
The one time a woman threw herself over the hospital-floor,
She attacked her husband and accused him of killing their child………..
But it was an accident; it wasn’t the father’s fault!
A Taxi skipped a robot and instantly killed the little innocent boy
The boy was sitting loose, without a seatbelt or in a child-safety-chair,
And it happened not even one kilometer away from where they stayed……
I WANT TO SHOUT EVERY TIME I SEE CHILDREN LOOSE IN CARS!
CAN THE PARANTS NOT UNDERSTAND?
DO THEY NOT KNOW?
THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY MAY BE PERFECT DRIVERS,
THESE INNOCENT LITTLE CREATURES,
CAN BE WIPED OUT OF THEIR LIVES,
BY JUST ONE ACCIDENT!
I can tell you of many a time,
I and my wife had to hold people in our arms,
And without saying a word we prayed:
‘Please Lord; help these people to get victory,
Over the sting of death and the accident’
