I started writing in order for us to have lyrics in our band. It is a hobby so it's fun for me, that's the most important for now. This forum is great because people get to have the time to read the stuff you've written, whereas sung lyrics aren't always absorbed amongst everything else that's busy happening on a stage.
I write about things that inspire me, anything from the environment to social commentary, and if the stuff has a humorous twist in the tail, even better.
For the band thing, I don't write love lyrics, there's too much of that all ready. Enjoy and feel free to comment.
