Come to think of it, I feel wacky today! It’s because the Doctor has put me on terribly strong drugs for my headaches that stem from a neck problem.
Part of me, the part that can manage to form proper if fuzzy thoughts is wondering if I ever even woke up this morning. The rest of me appears to be asleep or absent without leave! Don’t worry I haven’t lost my mind, it’s just an excellent bout of strong drugs.
I tried to read but my body relaxed and my thoughts turned to food. I’m craving carbohydrates! Cheese and chocolates and all sorts of things guaranteed to make my body fat but my little mind happy. I want French-fries, ice cream, macaroni and cheese. I want thick creamy cake; I want spaghetti and freshly baked bread rolls.
Instead of focusing on sleep and food I thought that I’d quickly write something for the all-new, all cool Mabooki website:
Even if it’s just for one hour I’m going to be deliriously happy! The sky is beautiful; the sun is shining as it warms the earth. Today I was cheered by people close to me and even by strangers who paused to smile at me. Thank you to everyone who gave me kind words, words of encouragement and jokes today, you made me feel good.
It’s the people of this world who extend that extra little bit who pull us along. I’m very grateful for everything that I have.
To everyone who made me happy today – thank you!
