Kindness…
If I could give anything to the world this Christmas, it would be kindness. The world is desperately in need of kindness. Everyone is so angry with everyone else, there is so much anger and fear that lives get torn apart. I would give kindness wherever I went and in everything I did. I would care for the children, care for the elderly, care for strangers, and care for the earth and the creatures that share our planet.
A true gift is not demanded, needed or even expected. It comes with no conditions or attachments. Giving of yourself, your love and affection is all that is required.
Thankfulness…
I am grateful for the people in my life, my incredible and most beloved Hubby who I love and cherish, our wonderful children who have given us such sparkling grandchildren all of whom I adore.
I am grateful for my beautiful mother who through her own living has taught me how to love and has provided me with many siblings with which to share my life.
I am grateful for the great friends I have found to enrich my soul.
I am grateful for the glory of the world around me, the companionship of my pets, and all that brightens my life.
I am grateful for love, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness and fortitude, without which I would not be able to exist.
Pleasure…
I find joy within the arms of love.
I find peace in the cheerful company of children.
I find happiness when I smile at strangers or they smile at me.
I find peace within myself when I listen to my heart and just laugh for no reason.
I find delight when I read or good book or memorize a poem.
I find pleasure when I really enjoy the madness of real life and seize the moment.
I find gladness when I remember a happy moment as I look through the pages of my photo albums.
May your kindness, appreciation and pleasure be a gift to you this Christmas, and may you pass it on to others as well.
