My life is so mixed up right now. One minute I’m up and the next I’m down. I am experiencing life through my feelings and not through common sense. I’m “Collapse-able!”
SO I told myself that the time had come to take control of my life and become organized. Order is exactly what’s needed, so I’ll make lists and follow them meticulously.
.
This is how you do it:
Wake up early (for a change) and make a list of things to do today, decorate the list with creative doodles. Spill some tea on it to make it almost illegible. (which shouldn’t pose a problem, you’re going to write it all into your filo-fax anyway.)
Forget what the devil you did with the stupid list. Start a new one, get bored and have a cigarette instead. Run around the house looking for an ashtray.
Check the grocery cupboard to see what you should put on your shopping list. Throw everything out because the shelves need wiping. Decide to complete that task once you’ve downloaded your e-mail.
Drive to the supermarket for black dustbin bags, washing powder, and plastic chips (Chips that are not ‘Slap Chips‘).
Mosey through the aisles and take items off the shelves (carefully checking that you don’t get the “Hot chilli sardines” because everyone hates them) until the trolley is full. When you finally reach the till realize that you forgot to draw cash.
At home again and halfway through a Soduku puzzle, suddenly remember that you forgot to start dinner. Decide that it’s too late for anything but sardines. Open the cupboard to see that you purchased the “Hot Chilli” instead of the plain sardines.
Munch on a large chocolate bar (which was definitely NOT on your list) conveniently forgetting about that diet.
“Oh Pop A Wheelie! I have to go now -- I forgot to buy Black Dustbin Bags, Washing Powder and Plastic Chips!”
